any ideas on preventing the dreaded overspray? often times my details get lost in overspray and lose that crisp look that Im wanting.

hold you can closer to your painting and as you spray and move the can really fast so the layer of paint stays thin. ----------

Also, don't angle it too much, aim it directly where you want it to go

jeah i tryed that, but then it happens, that its a big lake of paint . and if i try to go quick, i lose control ^-^

Thank you! That was the answer I needed also. I always seemed to lose that crisp look with over spray. Thanks again.

I tried changing caps to a skinny cap, that gives you a smaller spray area and reduces overspray. check the that the cap nozzle is free of paint build up. Hope this helps?
