Hi All,
I'm a 49 yr old Brit living just North of San Fransisco. I've just started down the road of spray painting, (started end of March this year), having see the art form a couple of times on the street.
I'm not fantastically artistic, but I have done a fair amount of watercolor painting and some pencil and chalk drawings. This art form fascinated me so now every chance I get I'm spraying up a storm!
I seem to take 2 steps forward then one back! I'm happy now with planets (without rings!) and using stencils - but having a challenge with cave walls and mountains. Still practice makes perfect (or at least better). My family and neighbors think my stuff is fantastic (but all I see are the errors) and I think a lot of the appeal is because they are very colorful and I mainly use just the primary colors (because I can't find a store that has a good color range!)
I have Brandon's intermediate and advanced DVD's and I'm working on my technique to produce consistent work. I love all the help, advice and support here so I'm sure we'll cross paths down the line :-)
Oh and if there's anyone here from the Bay area fire me off an email steve@dolanweb.com,
Cheers
Steve
