Thought I'd introduce myself..I'm retired about 1 and half years..started making designs in the rug with the vacuum decided I needed something to do..stumbled across this site..my mom was an artist so I decided to try this. Having fun but have a ways to go..Won't say how old I am suffice to say I spent a week at Max Yasgar's farm in '69. Looking for all the help I can get. Brandon's first video was great.

but your lucky.. you got to live through a lot of things that i would have liked to seen. im amazed by the stories my parents tell about what they saw growing up.

i still cant get over that they didnt have a microwave or a fridge.

Your right I have been lucky...blessed is more accurate! Had a great career, have a great family and I was able to retire relatively young..I'm always looking at new things to do and interests to follow...Never stop learning!....THAT is what keeps you young.
