Hey guys I've been wondering what you use for your planet stencils. Like where do you get them? Do you get them from old pots and pans that were thrown away, or did you actually go out and buy those specific pieces? If you do buy them, where could i buy those pieces as well?

Actually the bottom of many pill bottles have small ridges on them and the extra weight makes for excellent stencils.

I use pie pans with peices of tape on top. The tape I use as Handels to lift my pie pan without screwing up paint around it.

cookie cans. all sizes and a little tape to make a handle with. ... second hand stores. i have so many i have had to give em away. stiff plastic cups, bowls, goblets. lids to all kinds of lil containers. coins with tape for handle as well. CD's tape the hole... cans all sizes there too. careful of flimsy lids the tend to get oval . and it shows when done painting too.
Thanks Brandon |

Anything will work really as long as it has a sharp bottom and is round.

Also you can use spray can caps for smaller planets or moons

I use lids off of coffee containers for my bigger planets and lids off of cream cheese containers for my mid-sized ones. For the tiny ones lids off water bottles or gatorade bottles work well.
