Mountain trouble

Hey Everyone,

So does anyone have any special tricks they use do to mountains cuz I keep trying and failing miserably. Maybe even just some basic guidelines you follow.

There is a very simple method for making mountains. Step 1. Layer the color of your mountain. Say light blue and black, onto the poster board. Step 2. Cover entire area with your sky color, say medium blue. Step 3. Fold a magazine 3 or 4 times and use it to "scrape" the sky layer away, exposing your mountain colors underneath. With a few strokes make the shape you want your mountain to be.Here is an example
