Well, today I had my paint area set up and managed to make several paintings, now that dad is back with the camera I can get pictures taken. I only sold two though, both of a cowboy stencil I had. One of them I sold to a guy that drives a viper...he would have let me drive if I had asked so I figure the paintings must have been good (seeing a viper in a town of 1,200 is CRAZY). I got alot of compliments on the work. I also got alot of, "We don't have any money."'s, many of which were transparent lies meaning, not interested. But some of which had the honest look of mourning that they couldn't induldge in the awesome of spray art. Any similar memories/stories or suggestions for next time?

Congratulations on your first live experience! I can't wait to paint live at an event sometime. So. . .did you have a stock number of paintings you felt like you could whip out in 15 minutes or under that you had practiced "ad nauseum" until they were just habit? Or were you just winging it and creating fresh stuff right there in front of people?

Congratulations man, excellent that you sold any of course :) And man, thats a small town! And Vipers are sick, 2009's have a 8.4l v10 but they still get 22 mpg, crazy...

I did a bit of both. I had completed one stencil painting so they could see the stencil, and I had a few others that I knew I could remake that I put on display. I had a few people do custom ones and I let them pick the colors and planet location. Let them feel involved and more attached to the process, ergo, more likely to buy the product. Alas, they did not.
