So the other day I was noticing how spray paint art has completely consumed me, so I decided to make a list... Feel free to add on!
You know you’re addicted to spray paint art when…
1)You keep watching the same YouTube spray paint art videos over and over.
2)Every time you see poster board in a store, you have to touch it to see if it has a glossy side.
3)You look at the edge of every circular object and container lid before throwing it away to see if it could be used for making planets.
4)Whenever you see an object with a glossy surface, you start imagining what scene you would paint on it.
5)Every time you smell spray paint, pictures of planets and mountains pop in your head.
6)You look at a tree and try to memorize every single little detail and color about it so you can recreate it later.
7)Every sunset, moon, or cloud display sparks a new idea for a painting.
8)You hear a song on the radio and try to decide whether or not the beat would be good enough to paint to.
9)You have paint splatter all over your hands, arms and legs but don’t care enough to wash it off because you know you’ll just add more to it tomorrow!
10)Your daily news comes from the message boards on SpacePaintings.Com. :-)

good one, had me cracking up
you know your addicted to spray paiting when:
11) you paint on your kitchen floor just because its raining outside.
12.you make complete paintings in your head when you are at work.
13.you have to tip toe through your living space so as to not step on drying paintings.
14.you find yourself painting in your best clothes and always ruin them.
15.when you scope out all the nice glossy magazines.

16. When you give up your lunch at Taco Bell because that $4.50 you were going to spend will buy you another can of Spray!
17. When you subscribe to 10 different magazines each month, but never read any of them before using them to create textures on your art
18. When you read and post on Spacepaintings.com every day, even though your instructional DVD's haven't even come yet. . .and you haven't painted your first painting yet!

This is great, you guys made me laugh and all the above are so true!
You know your addicted to spray painting when:
19)You wake up in the middle of the night because you had a brilliant idea for a painting.
20) You wake up at 5am to see if anyone left you any comments on your posts or if you have received any emails for custom orders, and then go back to bed.
21)When you end up with more spraypaint stocks than the actual store!!
22)When you cannot be bothered to take off your full of paint rubber gloves to have a snack cause you can't wait to get back to your paint.
23)And when you make your wife sign up as a member on your own website...!??!..

24) You run out of printer ink and paper from printing so many pictures to make stencils from (or to keep on hand for painting ideas).
(This just happened to me. Haha!)

25) you leave your boring family gathering early cause you miss painting already.
26) you find yourself scraping landscapes in your dreams at night.
27) your friends call and the first words out of their mouth are "are you painting?".
28) you find yourself typing out crazy one liners on spacepaintings.com message board.

29) You work for 10 hours, and still manage to stay up until 2am painting, taking pics, posting to the websites, and leaving comments on others work... all the while knowing that alarm clock is going off in a few hours.
30) You give up evening rides on the Harley to try painting that great idea you thought of earlier in the day.
31) You ask your customers if you can use their computer to check some specifications and dimensions on their project, and just HAPPEN to take a quick peek to see if anyone has posted a comment on your latest painting.
32) You spend all your computer/tv time on spacepainting sites and youtube, so you haven't seen an episode of any tv show in so long that that when others talk about them you just nod and pretend to have a clue.
33) Your garage and parts of your house have smelled like spray paint for so long your family has finally become as accustomed to it as you, and no longer complain.
34) You have to go out and buy an external hard drive to store painting pics on your computer because "C DRIVE" is so low on space your auto backup feature no longer works and you can no longer save pictures to photobucket to post at the spacepainting sites. (I will be departing shortly, LOL.)

SO WHAT IF I BUY LATEX GLOVES BY THE BOX OF 100, TAKE EVERY MAGAZINE LEFT ON THE COFFEE TABLE, LIDS OFF FOOD CONTAINERS, SPONGES FROM UNDERNEATH THE SINK WITHOUT MY WIFE'S PERMISSION, I COULD QUIT... SO WHAT IF I WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS LIKE OTHERS WATCH TV, AND WEAR A MASK THAT MAKES ME LOOK LIKE AN EXTERMINATOR?

35)you buy out all your local walgreens of glossy white paper.
36)you get in a tug a war with another customer in the next town overs walgreens for the last sheet of glossy paper.

37) People think you have a disease because of all the paint spots on your hands
38) All your friends at school/work ask if you made a new painting
39) Your frineds/family fight over who gets your paintings
40) You no longer care when people look at you wierd when you're outside spraypaintings or have a cart filled with spray cans,magazines,wax paper,and respirator masks.
41)You walk around with a respirator mask still on top your head and don't notice it.
42) You'll be on a walk and find objects to hold down your stencils.

haha, 14's gotten me in a ton of trouble too. hah and a variation on 14:
45) You go to the store and buy clothes just to paint in and wreck!
46) Your garage floor is tinted with overspray dust, and there are plenty of colored splatters/ drips
47) EVERYTHING you take out to the paint area is now red/blue/black/white/green/brown....
48) Your entire trash bin is filled with sticky painty magazine sheets

49) You start cursing the rain because it just dripped on your painting.

These are awesome :)
51) you paint a pic for the members contest the day before the contest ends despite your left arm swollen and you paint hand is covered in blisters from poison ivy... Then you realize that the camera software isn't uploaded :(

all of the above plus:
53) you are outside so long you get a nasty sunburn- and you now can see the imprint of the respirator around your face.(ouch loser)
54) you end up with paint on your lips because you had to eat your lunch while working on your painting-
55) there are complaints from the neighbours because you are too busy painting to cut the grass
56) the hardware store clerk politely wonders why you are buying so much paint
57) when you start wishing you didn't live where it snowed so you could paint all year.
