1.Does size count? (of the PAINTING)....:)
i.e. should we note what size this is, or is there a standard size for contest entries....
2.+1 to number of submissions..... the more I do the better I get so I'd be reluctant to enter one early in fear I'd do one I like better
3. Do we vote in regards to the use of the planet in the composition or is it strictly on the planet itself?
thanks for starting this...........should be fun!

any size is ok, mentioning the size is up to you.

TRU - the contest was just created yesterday, so it hasn't really even started yet! Go to General Discussion Board and right above the discussion board are links to the Non-Member contest. You can get the info from there. We have til the end of June to submit our piece to be voted on.

nsmar4211, Consider this, you can edit and delete your own posts within the forum, so lets say you post an entry early, then paint a killer one just before the contest ends, you could always delete the first entry and post the new one. Just make sure you have the entry you want voted on posted by June 25, 2009. I think procrastination could lead to not getting enough non members to enter the contest. Action breeds enthusiasm. I think every one of the non members should post something this week, to feed off one anothers ideas. Then if you like, change your entry later in the month. :)

hey, i know this will probably sound stupid, but i cant figure out how to post up my picture for the non-members contest. is there like a place on the site somewhere? cuz i see that lots of ppl post videos of themselves, but i dont know how to post a pic. is there anyone that could help me?

For the contest, click on the "General Discussion Board" link, and then just above the discussion board there is a little box with 3 different links for the non-member contest.
To post a pic, I believe you will put it in the first link. You will have to go to some place like PhotoBucket or something to upload your pic and copy the http:// address for the photo. Then on here, there is a forumula you need to type in...
< img src = " [your photo's web address here] " >
(just take out the spaces except for between img src)
That should post your pic. Good luck!
