Hey everyone!! I need help with water... I can not seem to get it right.. Is there a video on how to do it? You will be my hero forever if someone can show me how to do the water and do it right.. when I do it, it turns out like a blob of blue paint.. I use white over but you can not tell that I even put white down... There seems to be to much paint..
I have spent hours and hours on end looking for something to show me how to do it.. I watch the videos on youtube and other places but they go so fast and I cant really tell.
Please help!

well when i do water usually i lay the blue down then some color like orange and yellow if its a clear sunny scene. then cover in white. now this part can be tricky and thats smearing the paint. you want to ever so lightly swipe with the tips of your fingers. it can be tricky. really the key is in the swiping. do it lightly and leave some of the white in there too. keep practicing and dont get discouraged and you'll get it!!! ---------- until next time,====> 11 Jones visit ---> www.eventheodds.org aleven_jones@hotmail.com

Thank you for the help.. I tried it on a black and white and it turned out ok looking, but when I do it on a color, with blue and white, thats where it gets nasty!! I think it is the white that I am useing.. It is more like watered down milk..
What brand of paint would be best. Right now I use Krylon, Wal-Mart brand and just bought 2 colors Rust-Oleum's Painters touch. I use white from the Wal-Mart brand because you seem to use a lot of white and black.

I bought some Painters Touch Sunday, I love it!!! so much easier to paint with, and the white shows up! it may cost about 1.00 more but it is so worth it...

use Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Spray. it is about the best in the UAS. not painter touch. painters touch has less pigment than the stop rust paint.
