I'm still somewhat new to this but i am doing a painting of a wakeboarder in a sunset, what is the best method to use when making the water look real with the red orange reflecting off it?

spray some red and orange down (not too much) then spray some blue(light or dark depending on time of day you want it to be) or skip the blue. Then spray white over top of it. After that use your finger to make it "wavy". Another way would be to spray blue with white over it, then add some orange or red over top. There are other methods, but those are the kind of things i think you are looking for. Try other colors too. And depending on the effect you want you dont really need the blue. It really all depends on what you are going for.

Yeah I've done something similar with he yellow and orange underneath some white and blue and used my finger and an index card to make it wavy. Looks pretty good! :)
