What kind of music to you listen to while you paint? (if you listen to music while you paint)
I personally listen to club/dance music.

I listen metal music, like Lamb Of God, Lacuna Coil, Machine Head, Soilwork, Whitechapel ... bands like that =)

at my beginning I just hit the radio. The old school channel. Did that for a while.
But now I don't even listen to something else

Usually put Pandora on quick mix, so all kinds of different genre's. But lately I've been listening to George thorogood and some reggae.

the new blueprint album adventures in counter culture is really good(the rapper from ohio no that b.s. by jay z), gorillaz is real good, and deltron 3030 never fails, i like the instrumentals from alot the albums from the rhymesayers record label

Sometimes I don't listen to anything, but when I paint to music it's usually Green Day, Blink 182, and Linkin Park.

I hate to bring up an old topic but I really liked it and thought maybe some newer people would like to chime in (Me) haha.. I listen to instrumentals, asian music, orchestras, celtic music, and soundtracks from a couple movies that are instrumental, (Tron, social network, pirates of the carribean, and august rush) :)

Nice! I like me some instrumentals also. Tron is a good one, i like the inception soundtrack too (dramatic music is interesting while painting lol). Also currently enjoying some buckethead as of recent.

Nice man! I just got the inception soundtrack, I can't believe I didn't think of that! I also got a 100 song CD of classical music, (4 parts) for 6 bucks!!!! That is always cool lol

I just try and get my brain around doing a painting with a top and a bottom and hopefully something in between..... but I do enjoy a mix of techno, country, christian and what the radio has to offer.
