Depth and light direction are the main ingredients for landscape paintings.
I notice in your paintings above that you scrape the outline of everything try just doing the left or right imagining the light is coming from that direction... it makes a huge difference... also some shadow inbetween the mountains will give you more depth... and with the foreground rocks try to do them a bit darker than the rest of the background again using the light source to pick off the rock features... Keep trying and remember practice makes perfect ( although expensive on paint )
