This is excellent work! That sky is awesome. The colors in the painting work well together. The back ground trees are a very nice touch.

If I might critique one thing: The tree in the forground lacks dimension only because there are no highlights along one side of the trunk and branches. If you were to take a small piece of torn posterboard, and use the edge to apply some highlights to the tree it would add depth and dimension, and tie it into the rest of the painting. Great work, keep them coming! Marty

Thanks Marty and Rogue! It means a lot after checking out your paintings. I totally agree with you, I need to start doing highlights on the foreground trees.
