i haven't posted anything new in a while...
been doin a lot of custom orders... well a few anyway - about 1 per week... here's some recent stuff...this guy said he wanted anything with deer, and then pointed to one of my other paintings for color scheme...
 subject was merely "hot air balloons"... this was my 1st concept and i look forward to trying again. :)
 the requested subject here was "horses and a western sky"... well at least I got the 'horses' part anyway! lol
 on this one the couple really liked one of my other paintings, but said that they wanted it bigger and with the mountains less apparent and more toned down... so this was my end result...

how do you do your mountains? i LOVE them! haha
it seems like you foam brush the black, but then how do you get your highlighted part so... smooth looking?

I love them all. I really like the deer and the hot air balloons though. Excellent work as always Munden. Keep it up.

i was just looking at these again, and man you mountains are so awesome i really wish i could see a video of how those are done. and your reflections are practically perfect those are some really great paintings
